advice
    #6127374 -

what advice would you give yourself back in a time when you really needed it???
mine would be take responsibility for your own action/non-action, emotions and such, also to cut out all the b/s beleifs system that doesn't work with this reality and don't rely on it, doesn't mean that you can't talk to your higher being, angels, god, astral projection and such, just don't rely on it everytime when you get into a rut in life. such gateways are used for tools not to live through. get real make shit happen if its not going your way. get back to life..

also what you see around in your life is what your attitude tends to be so if you see lots of angry people you could very well be angry yourself cus thats what you are concentrating on at that moment.

anybody else????

I rely on my spiritual nature every second of every day. I feel that my spiritual nature is the vehicle through which I live every moment. It is through this vehicle that every action I take is put into motion. I have no advice for my past self as I have nothing to regret or nothing that I wish to do over.

No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

True enough. And taking responsibility is a must.

Could this sort of thing be linked with material things too? Such as, when you have a certain kind of car you start to notice the same model of cars on the road all the time, when before you payed no attention,

hmmm

Exactly. If I had acted differently, than I would not now be in the position that I am in with the same understanding that would be used to give advice to oneself. Most of the advice we have now would be based on understanding that we have developed directly as a result of that specific situation occuring exactly as it did.

At the same time, I think it is important to consider where one has been and how one would now act in a similar situation, in order to better prepare ourselves for what may lie ahead in the future. Obviously not something that needs to be overanalyzed, but more along the lines of conscious mental notes. I often say to myself "If I had been thinking ahead to other tasks that I still need to accomplish today, I would have remembered to grab this while I was on my way back to that area to grab that, which I needed for the task I was working on right now - then I would not have needed to make two trips to the same area, and I would have had more time to my advantage.". I do this to get myself into a mental space from which I am thinking ahead and bringing more purpose and direction within myself.

That's at work, though, I really try to focus on improving my productivity as much as possible, and its all mental aspects that need to be changed in order to do so (physical requirements have never been an issue ). Not only is it to learn from what we've already went through, it is even more important to look forward and anticipate what is coming so that our actions in the moment will successfully lead us ahead. We don't walk with our eyes fixated on our feet, or turned over our shoulder.

I once gave myself a bad advice ahead of time. In one trip, I said to the other self in the second trip: HEY GLENN YOURE FUCKED UP.

When I tripped balls on acid the next week, I was very frightened when I suddenly heard myself say "HEY GLENN YOURE FUCKED UP", in the exact same situation which I pictured it in the first trip. Me being there, my friends being there, and the whole situation, which in the first trip seemed very unlikely and I thought I was just screwing around in my own fantasy. (which I was) Remembering this in turn triggered constant deja-vu, and opened the door for the noosphere and total knowledge.

I wish I was joking, but I'm glad that forgetfulness comes with total knowledge. Knowing what will happen in beforetime sucks.

These days I try not to worry about what I would have done in the past as every moment of every day of my life I am reborn as a different person. Who I was 5 minutes ago is not who I am now.

I have often wished I could go back and tell myself how to read women better. I was getting hit on left and right back in H.S. and didn't even realize it

I could have gotten lots more pussy.   :smirk:
