Best way to get rid of contaminated jars?

I occasionaly have problems with wet spot and cobweb mold contamination. I know they are both airborne and everytime I empty the jars I feel like I am pulling the pin on some sort of contamination grenade. I empty them in the same kitchen that I cook my rye and casing material in. I tried pressure cooking a batch that had wet spot last week and my house smelled like shit for hours afterwards. BAD IDEA! So what is the best way to dispose of nasties without spreading them/

open the jars outdoors and feed them to the neighboors dog

i useally take a big shit, i mean really big, those ones when it takes like 3-4 flushes to go down, then just dump the jars and mix it around with the shit
works great for me, it doesnt smell like contam, it just smells like shit

Well I would do them outdoors but I live in an appartment complex and I would probably arouse the neighbors suspicion. I already have to be carefull not to be seen bringing in strange items like 50lb bags of shit and rye, canning jars, fish tanks, etc. I know for a fact that one of my neighbors is a undercover narcotics officer so it is best that I be carefull.

cut the top off a gallon milk jug, fill with bleach water, heavy on the bleach, and open the jars under the water

Thanks man, thats a good idea. Do you think rye would clog up my septic system? If I did that it would be much easyer to flush them than to bag them for the trash.

ummmmmmmmif you break them up really good they shouldnt. unless ya already got problems with it
that is the way i got rid of all my jars, cept i used a 1 1/2 gal metal mop bucket, i stumbled upon an unlimited supply of 5 gallon food grade buckets, so i use that now, i can drop quite a few in, let the bleach water soak in thru the holes, open them ( underwater ) the next day. another plus, there is no chance of breathing in the dust, and making yourself sick

Get a big plastic garbage...nuts high...lolz
Put it in the tub....in the bathroom.
Water and bleach mix....10 to 1 or so.
Open the jars under water.
get the yucky stuff out in the one container...you opened the jar in.
have another container with a bleach water mix to leave the jars in for 24 hours.
then put the jars in the dishwasher...wash em
Drain the water out of the garbage one....into the toilet....don't dump cakes or Grains down the shitter....it will clog up the drain....after awhile.
*that would be fun to explain to the landlord*
Carry the can out and dump the yuck out at night.....when no one is around.
