How many shroomers love

the way audio sounds while trippin on shrooms.

I see a lot of people here post about visuals and things but one of the best parts of my trips is always the music or just sounds of nature (rainfall).

I think it's underrated.

I always thought pot/xtc were the pinnacle of audio enhancement; however when i shroom i get his feeling (drama incoming) that I am the music and it's within me. And it has a purpose for playing for my life (in fact I figured out a few song meanings that actually made sense to me sober ha).

Also the sounds of nature are utmost appealing. The rain on the trees and everything is just like an auditory orgasm.

Anyone else feel that way?

ganja + lsd or shrooms + my killer system in my car or in a sweet indoors system is the best, i cant trip without my ipod aswell.

I have trouble listening to music when tripping.... It's weird but it's just the way i am.

I always hear these amazing things about music and psychedelics, so i will continue to experiment. But this far it does not bring about any higher fascination.

There are all kinds of trips... somtimes i have total auditive trips where shrooms enhace stereo and my panning nod goes all tweaky... i also have had very musical trips in wich the beauty of art is understood through music and i can "see/hear" different instruments.
Sometimes this goes with the visual thingies.

to me low doses are the key to auditory fascination. last trip i had was by myself, on only 2.3 g of some home grown gulf coast, which is less than i normally take, and danced around dirty hippie style to music that was pouring from my head, not from speakers, for about 2.5 hours.

yeah music is the best whilst tripping. i recall a few really profound trips listening to floyd where i just closed my eyes and got lost. i completely forgot who i was, where i (who didnt exist anymore) had just been previous to this new weird place in my head. in fact.... previous to that place didn't exist.... or something like that

I for one find it the most enjoyable "side effect' of the trip. I'd even put it infront of visuals.

It's a combination of the mental state plus the intesification.

A lot of people say it's distracting; whereas I find it distracting w/o music. Maybe it's cause my life has always been around music.

But w/e. I never dose above 3g. Maybe it sounds garbled above that?

For me, music is what tripping is about. Sound is just so amazing. I can describe how it sounds to me, but I do know that sound has never sounded the same since my first trip.

That is so strange, because I never reach a truly intense audio trip until I have high doses like 4-5 grams. And then it doesn't even sound like music (not in a bad way), it just sounds like different ambient noises encompassing the entire room.

LSD is always the psychedelic that has produced 3 dimentional sound the most for me. (The most stunning audio-visuals aside from ayahuasca, or any maoi mix).

Mushrooms are somewhere inbetween the two but also very different and far more illusive..

LSD and lsa really mess with my audio palete....... to the extreem.
Lsd has more audio for me than any other hallucinogen besides higher dose ayahuasca or other maoi mixes.

music/audio becomes extremely fascinating once one uses the psychedelic to 'dissect' the way sound operates and vibrates within the body. then it becomes a truly cosmic force.

There are only so many notes in the scale. You can detune them, and thats the only thing that makes them different......Same sharps or flats(depending on how you look at it). You could be listening to ravi shankar or pantera. They all abide by the rules of metaphysics. That its self makes a musical epiphany so much more relavent. Its the exact same as the primal logos.

That shit is not memory, thats metaphysics in the truest sense. It makes us whole, it is reality, it belongs to all of us.........
It is embeded in some people more than others. Its your upbringing that dictates your own understanding of it. Its so very complex as to why some people really feel it genuinely, and some people ask other people why they themselves dont feel it/experience it..

Im an artist. Skilled in music and the visual arts. That psychedelic message came easy to me.

There is no doubt that you cant ignore your past, and that s what makes you you. What does not belong to you exclusively is in all of us. SOme people just see it more easily than others.

I hate the audio halucinations I get. Its just annoying,lol, and always sounds like a phone ringing.

I also really like visuals and the way you can think about things. But even it was just for audio enhancement I would trip too definitely :mushroom2: :laugh:
Music is a big part of my trip, although when in nature you don't really need it, but for indoors it's a must! (still have to try the silent darkness for longer than a few minutes though and see what happens then.)

I experienced music w/ shrooms for the first time a few weeks ago. It was INTENSE. Eric Clapton was alienlike, but beautiful. The music wasnt the same. My mind couldnt decipher the elements.

I am an audio engineer, and to me, the music is all about its recording and mixdown. While on mushrooms, it was just this explosion. (Also, every song felt as if it lasted 40 min each).

The pinnacle of my auditory experience during the trip was when i turned on my tv and selected an electronica music station.

All of a sudden, the words MUSHABOOM slammed onto the screen(name of th song), and the bass was making everything on my tv screen move.

The fact that while tripping, i came across a song ABOUT mushrooms made me extatic. We are not alone. Simply "under the radar". "CAUSE DRUGS ARE BAD" <rolls eyes>


ohh im definitly going to dl that song now.

DMT, LSD & DPT do the most incredible things to sounds. I remember once listening to the rain hitting my roof and sunroof while on 3 hits of really good blotter....I'll never be able to describe it, it was incredible.
