you're right icelander, it is foolish for me to use the word God, because it tends to distract people.

life is a cell- all force is God, and it all sprouts from a sub-atomic level, it has many names, and the names aren't important here.
all things move through it, and it moves through all things.

There is, right now, exactly one technology based on the principle of zero-point energy, (that I am aware of) called a Casimir device.

Zero-point energy is the lowest possible energy of a physical system, according to quantum mechanics. It arises as a consequence of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, in that, even in a perfect vacuum, there must be some fluctuation of field strength. (Thus zero-point energy and vacuum energy are virtually interchangeable)

According to our current understanding of the universe, zero-point energy appears to be infinite, however, most expect that new physics arise on the Planck scale, making zero-point energy mathematically/physically manageable.

Some amateur tinkerers believe that they can create some sort of "free energy" device by somehow "harvesting" zero-point energy, but as such energy is the lowest possible energy of a physical system, any attempt will be by definition fruitless.

For a significantly better answer to your question, take it over to the science and tech forum- This question really doesn't have all that much to do in P&S.

Nothing that has been said in this thread really has anything at all to do with the concept of zero-point energy/devices.

well, the thread has just begun xanthas.

and, there have been many free energy devices created, but they are very dangerous to global economy.
and humanity, seeing as how once we rely on a certain technology, it modifies our organic strengths and weaknesses.
I'll give some examples of devices that have been built, and destroyed, at my leisure.

zero-point technology is spiritual.
some people can't seem to get it through their heads that science and spirituality have always been on a collision course.
and the day they finally do collide, that will sort of spell the end of time as we know it-

Terrence McKenna talked alot about Timewave Zero, and Zero-Point Technologies.
Also Drunvalo Melchizedek.

zero point technologies are spiritual in nature, because all things that come into being are ordained from highest levels of divinity.
and when you're dealing with mankind co-creating reality, the secrets are well gaurded.

a question that will arise is, why isn't the military hip to it then?
i'd like to focus on the metaphysics, not the physics.
i have some bizarre bootleg videos, that i'll need to review and take notes, and i'll bring the examples here.
of course it probably won't change the view of those skeptics who demand a published textbook in order to believe, and what i'm about to say will probably be catagorized by most as conspiracy.
