could a seed be planted in august and still get sex and flower?

i noticed alot of weeds and things flowering this month more and more, so could a currently 2 week old plant show sex anytime soon?

Yes! Depending on your local environment, you can flower plants outside in the fall even if they are started in August or September or even later in the year.

I live where frost doesn't happen so I could actually plant clones outside today and they'd start their flowering cycle pretty much immediately. Think about it this way, some growers use the vegetative light cycle for 2 weeks on pot plants started from seed and then switch to flower cycle...it would work the same way outside but if you get fall or winter frosts the plants will have a tough time pulling through.
