i hear that if your not in a tropical environment like Florida, or south, south California then its practically impossible to get a HBWR plant to flower. i hear its the same indoors, but i would imagine that of given the right temps, and light water/nutrients ect, why wouldn?t it? im gonna get a plant pretty soon but don?t want one if it does not flower. i live in the valley right outside the east bay so there is lots and lots of sunlight, might even get to hot here, there are rivers and lakes that even in the super hot weather stay warm/cool, and in the evening and night get humid, i was thinking of planting cuttings there and harvesting later. i was also going to do an indoor set. what do you guys think? any tips on growing or good grow guides for HBWR plants....

its extremly difficult to get them to flower, it can be done in a greenhouse with good temps and humidity but they key to get them to flower is not to get them pot boundl, they need large areas of soil to grow roots in, maybe 40-50 gallon of soil per plant.

I am also interested in this subject. I am thinking of planting my large plant (grown in the room from seed) in some wet and sunny place outdoors. I donnt have a garden so I'll plant it somewhere outside city but not too far away. I only hope no one will spot it and take the flowers... There is a river nearby surrounded with rich vegetation, and soil never dried out completely. Sun is very strong and yet there are many tall trees that make some shadow. Climate is continental but somers are very hot.
