Datura is very dangerous, but I wouldnt mind talking about it.

Seriously, people come here for answers and those who bitch about any simple question need to realize that if this place is worth anything, its main function is giving and receiving information.
You could look most things up, but sometimes its not as good as just talking to people.

Although I agree there are lots of stupid questions asked on this site.

i'm planning on takeing maybe 15 seeds alltho i did read once that it's better smoke them becouse you get less of a intense high what part do you smoke the flowert petal or the leafy part

Seriously, I think you(chris) should try ANY of the other plant drugs before you use datura. Its not a typical hallucinogen, and its cheap because it grows wild across the globe, and nobody wants it.

Really man, try some san pedro cacti, or HBWR. They are plants you might return to after your first experience. Even if you are just into the nice psychedelic mind job and some visuals, dont use datura.

15 seeds can be ALOT for some people.

Plants you actually should try, and you canorder on the internet.

San pedro- Mescaline
HBWR seeds- LSA
morning glories- LSA
maybe some salvia- Salv. A

And even ayahuasca-
which can be way too much for some people, but it cant touch the physically and mentally threatening aspects of datura.

Just dont use datura.... But if you must, start VERY low. Smoke a hit of leaf or something...

from the trip reports i've read so far i have to try datura my only problem is from what it looks like a sitter would be a good idea i have never had a sitter for mushrooms acid lsa ect

the main thing that turns me on is the full blown 3D visuals straight seeing and talking to people that are not there never had this hapen before i mean i've triped on acid and had conversation of the sorts but i dont belive what i was doing was an illusion

what is the deal with people and seeing shit? Is it really that great?

I had one very visual acid trip that was in no way as euphoric and spiritual as my slightly visual mush trips.

Are you reading anything else on erowid aside from seeing shit? Because I read about datura there and most people didn;t have much positive to say.

The visuals are nothing like any drug you have ever used. Hardly psychedelic. Its more like being stuck in a dream.

I would hardly call them 3D visuals. They are projections of a sort of dream state. Unlike the beautiful and 3D geometric patterns caused by actual psychedelics.

SO again, just dont use datura, but if you do, your onto something when it comes to your need for a sitter.

Also to acheive those kinds of realistic/3D dream states, you have to take more than most people would ever dream of trying. Those kinds of doses are SO HARD on your body and mind.

Id never recommend it, and it would NOT sit well with most people.

Ive had some very heavy trips, many of them, I dont even put datura into that category. It really was not as astonishing as any other trip on any real psychedelic.
Good lord, dont ever take it to see shit. I know thats why some people use the classic hallucinogens. But christ man, dont do it so you can "see shit". I dont know your motive but I just thought I should say that to back up the last persons post.

What you're planning on is called an "acute datura intoxication" in the ER and even there it has an 8-12% fatality rate.

as for the "visuals" - its another world, the world of delirium and psychosis.
Just wait until you meet the Demons.

On the doses you seem to be planning (though I think there will be no dosing of any kind, you'll probably just take a bunch of it) people have stabbed out their own eyes and cut off their penis with scissors.
They were people like you and me before and after the Datura, but during it they were fullblown psychotics.
