Unfortuently, the PR strain is not a good strain for a beginning cultivator. Even the more experienced cultivators cannot get it to fruit abundantly. You really need the correct temps and rH to achieve a good flush.  It is an extremely fast colonizer and is hard to not get overlay in a casing.

Try the B+ strain for your first time. It is very forgiving and will give you some really nice fruits!

if theyre puerto rican then theyre gonna be potent and aggressive; theyre very stubborn and do what they want to.
if this is your first attempt i wouldnt recommend them as theyre pretty slow fruiters and are hard to control; you could try them as cakes but it will be 10+ days to fruit them (longer in my experiences- and thats not including birth to pinning which was well over 1 week) whereas thailand or maztecs cycle from pin to veil breaking in about 3-4 days

Holy shit people; COMMON SENSE! we were all born with it where did it go?
maybe theres a tek out there to explain how to use it!

Puertos can be a bitch to fruit - as others have stated here. They perform very well from agar isolation/innoculation, but from multispore innoculation, they tend to overlay and require above average humidity and air exchange.
