relative strength of Puerto Rican

I have read that the Puerto Rican strain is generally more potent than most of the other strains. About how much more potent? Does the 3 grams for a strong trip approximation still apply to PR, or is it significantly less?

IMO, I think cambos are better than PRs. I didn't think that PRs were all that special, but I've heard a lot of people that like them.

Personally I think it's all much of a muchness.  Having said that i'm growing some PR's at the moment (coz according to the vendors they are more potent) :laugh:

I intend to do my normal 3 gram (i apply this rule to all cubs)  and 2 grams for Pan. Cyans (they really are a lot stronger  :crazy:)

My buddy grew some pr's and they were indeed potent.
It was a very trashy ignorance trip and not many visuals unless you eat a lot and keep away from distractions. 3 grams will do you good but skip lunch and dinner that day to make sure.

my puerto ricans are far more potent than mushrooms I buy from people, but I also dry mine really well, so that probably makes some difference. Still, I think PRs are more potent than most other cubensis strains.

3 grams??!?! Damn that sounds like a lot. The shrooms my friend grows, he usually eats like 1.5 grams or 2 grams and does just fine!!!

I've heard nothing but good things about the potency of PR's, I've got a PR syringe, but the inncubator is full right now with other strains...so hopefully in the next few weeks i'll get to check them out...Further more though from what i've read and seen in pics, especially Joshua's grow log of PR's, they r a BITCH to get to pin, the mycel grows so rapidly it can't hardly be stopped and overlay becomes a pain in the ass, i know as soon as my substrate is fully colonized, i aint waitin no few days, they r going straight to the fridge for cold shocking...just my 2 cents!!

or 0.5 dried grams of pan cyans...
PRs were not too bad - GTs and Argents are just as potent though

I got nice visuals from 2g's of pr's. Nice leaf blending, and cloud swirling. I even saw the swirls in my pipe move! I like hawians
