Mushroom Tea
    #570932 -

Why didn't i find out about this earlier. Ive been doing shrooms for a while now, usually i do them a lot one month and not for the next two moneths and repeat.

Lately ive been doing a bunch. Sunday i did 5g orally, fri i did 4.3 g orally and both times were great, tripped pretty hard. Monday came around and i dont have class tuesday morning and all i wanted to do was trip.

I was quite uneasy about wasting 50 bucks on a 1/4 of shrooms if my tolerence was going to be high. my friend/dealer told me i should make mushroom tea, he said 1/8 in tea was way too much for him. So i decided to try it. 5g in a cup of tea?!: I will never eat shrooms again, this is by far the most efficient and inexpensive way to trip. The tea was the first time i couldn't move and was having very strong aural hallucinations. Most fucked up trip ever. every time i moved or blinked, a click, beep, or swish would accompany the movement. very strange.

I reccomend this method to everyone, by far the best way to shroom!

F.Y.I.
Unless you eat the soggy shrooms afterwords you're actually missing out on some of the mushroom potency, it just hits you harder because your stomach doesn't have to break it down...most of the increased trip potential as you had said was all in your head.

As long as mushrooms are stored properly they have a really long expiry date, I have shrooms that are 4 years old in capsules in a cool spot that hit me harder than hell.

i would have to disagree on the soggy remains thing.. i have tested this a couple times ( i was curious ).. i usually do no more than chop it as finely as is easy with a large kitchen knife and i tried saving the remains and each time.. nothin. so i wouldn't worry about stuff staying in them

I never eat the soggy stuff, sloppy grey goop doesn't really do it for me. The tea is usually enough, although sometimes I reboil the soggy shrooms once or twice during the trip if I get bored. You probably do leave some good stuff behind but who cares, just get more shrooms.

I love mushy tea, just be careful not to do it too much, now everytime I drink certain types of tea I expect to start trippin out soon after.

Whats the deal with this Tea method?
I mean, all ive ever heard is that heat is BAD for the potency of the mushies, so therefore i would think that putting them in a hot tea would be stupid.
How can this work? is there something im missing?

Donno how other do it, but this is what works for me: I heat water to a boil, remove from the heat and add a tea bag... let it steep for about 5 minutes and remove the tea bag, let it cool until it is warm, but not hot... toss it into a blender with your dose of dry shroom and hit blend for a few seconds. If I chug the tea mix, I will go from zero to near peak in under two minutes... Many people recommend drinking the tea slow because of this. I have only tried this with dry material... always used OJ or milk/ice cream for fresh ones.

Take water heat it when it boils put it of the fire... then when the water isn't boiling anymore just throw in some dried mushrooms and keep them in there for about 15 to 20 minutes.
No chopping up or anything just mushrooms in hot water for 15 minutes...
For example: take 3g dry try the method and drink your cup in 10 minutes... you won't know what hit you hehe  (i can assure you)
About the used mushrooms... you can off course eat it but it's not very tasty (yuck) ... the tea will probably be more than enough hehehe

Very true. I personally don't like the tea method. Maybe because I was so shocked (and this after 20 years of shrooming).

I got hit over the head with a sledge hammer in just minutes. I was talking on the phone then started stuttering (which I never do) then froze. I could not speak and just sat down. Then the whole room tilted at a 90 degree angle like the Titantic going down. I had to grip my couch hard so as not to fall into the opposite wall.

My friend who lives in the same apartment complex as me, came running over and babysat me for an hour. It was most unpleasant. Perhaps that was because I was afraid that I was going to go way too deep and didn't realize that I had already peaked in 10 minutes flat. The trip was very short. I was back to base in 90 minutes.

I have done 5 grams many times and this was on 2 grams of aborts!

Go s-l-o-w your first time and wear a seatbelt.
