I tried smoking it and with weed it was a rewarding but far from profound experience. It was great to have a light trip with near my girlfriend. Great as mild psychedelic.

you just want that poor guy to snort that bull shit. That stuff is for tough rain forest people with high pain tolerances and a low IQ.

this is the most unhappy post i´ve seen from you, Psychoslut.
if your IQ is so high why don´t you get yopo pleasantly working for you?

yopo is not painful necessarily, it is painful only because people are simply ignorant when preparing and administering the snuff by roughly trying to imitate the original preparations which are quite unknown outside the natives circles.

Wood ash is a bad idea, as it's from where sulfuric acid is produced. Better to take dead garden snail shells and bake them at low temp and then grind them in a mortar. Plus, one should score through the surface of the seed to let out steam, and then one should roast yopo on low heat, through and through and then hull them, and not return the hulled seeds to a pan. It only takes about ten-fifteen minutes. At 325, in the oven. Then one isn't stupidly carbonizing the goodies. With very subtle entheogens delicacy is required.

Then grind both powders together until superfine like powdered sugar. Then insufflate.

One will get some mild-medium heady feeling and altered perception, but it won't ever be quite as strong as virola or some other more potent hallucinogen. That said, the altered perception was pleasant enough that entire races - Aztecs, Mayans, etc, had snuff boxes where they carried the stuff and used all through the livelong day. Their noses must have been pretty tough.

I recommend virola however.
