I havent smoked weed in months, so i decided to pick some up recently. Well im high and im having trouble with my perception of things. Anywhere from conversations with ppl, to just how people act in front of me. When im sober i feel i preceive things rationally. I feel im reading into situations more than they should be, thinking conversations are all twisted and subliminal. Does anyone know what im talkin about. I think its just a social anxiety type deal, i just read into things. Anyone can help me out on this?

I definitely know what you're talking about, the subliminal thing drives me nuts. Chewing kanna helps balance things out the best, very strong ginger tea and gotu kola help some. Exercising shortly before or shortly after I smoke weed helps some also. The more I smoke weed, the worse it gets, so I just don't smoke very often.

Don't get so high and it won't be so overwhelming.

Weed acts as a muscle relaxer and it also effects your brain chemistry. The end result is that the 'doors of perception' open up. You just have to relax and have fun. Things will be strange. You might have trouble with many different things from how you think to your posture. Just do what you do. I personally feel that it's wayyyy funner to be high and doing something like playing BBall or walking or playing catch. Just chilling with friends is cool, too, but sometimes you need to mix it up just like when you're sober.

Getting paranoid sucks. Once you lose your grip, it can really spiral out of control into something that you will regret. Don't be afraid. Just be aware.. focus on calm relaxing breaths if you need to.

If you didn't know - the concept of 'vibes' is real because people effect eachother even by being in the same general area. Do not worry about being strange because people will understand when you have good intentions.

I have the same problem. I become really introspective and think about things way too much. It sucks to get paranoid too. I will get paranoid about the most outlandish things that seem completly rational when I'm high. For these reasons and others, I don't smoke anymore and don't have these problems!

You may just be describing self-consciousness. The only way I've found to overcome that is to simply stop caring what other people think and just be yourself regardless of others (of course it's important to cultivate compassion for others, not cold indifference).
