    #569693 - 03/04/02 02:26 PM (22 years, 6 months ago)

My friends situtation

my cakes were growing rapidly and fully colonized in about 3 weeks. but no signs of pins and its been another 3 weeks and the cakes are shrinking some have shrunk so much that there 70% of there original size. I have given up hope on them.

can someone give me the causes of a cake stalln like that after a nice start. I left them in the same conditions threwout the 6 weeks they were in a rubbermaid cooler heated by a fishtank heater in a jar of water the temp avg was 90 the jar holes were not covered...

do you think they were no getting enough oxygen in the cooler, was it to hot help please so i dont make the same mistake again

thanks in advance

Try the PF double ended procedure on them. I bet you will at least get a few fruits out of it.
