Mycelium in jars...little problem...

Well it's been 2 weeks to the day since i innoculated my 5 jars. Right now they seem to be doing AWESOME! No contams, growing like crazy. My problem is that on 3 of the jars i accidentally didn't inject spores on all 4 sides (just one side). So the mycelium is now growing only on one side. is this bad?? It seems like it will colonize the whole thing...but it'll take longer. I just hope contams don't get them. This is my first attempt by the way ..(when i'm finally done i'm using a 10 gallon tank and casing them....I actually have a shroom growing book and movie and they display some cool ways of doing it. Thanks a lot guys. Great Forum.

Yeah you'll be fine, it will just take longer...which in turn does mean there is a higher chance for you to get contams. No worries tho, just keep putting the good vibes into them :wink:

you're doing better than me. that fucking PF tek is a sham,
its been 5 weeks since i got my spores n shit, the PFS (pretty fucking shitty) tek isn't working worth a damn.

i already have 10 pans of rye grain cased and 4 pinning (and almost mature) and the jars arent even ready to birth
maybe its been 4 weeks.

i dont know about anyone else, but 4 weeks is kind of rediculous.
mind you, to conserve spores, i used 1/2cc per piddly ass jar
