When to start fruiting double tub?

I've got a mini double tub of a BRF cake spawned to coir that's about 30% colonized on the top (no casing), and coming in really evenly. When should I expose it to light? This is after 108 hours in the dark.

Don't case it or expose it to fruiting conditions until its fully colonized.

What kind of casing would go good on that coir? Just plain vermiculite?

wait till the substrate colonizes 100%

case with ph adjusted peat moss and vermiculite 50/50

close the tub back up and wait for the casing layer to sprout mycelium in some spots.
with the double tub done correctly there should be no patching.
It should colonize the casing evenly.

Fruit once the mycelium pokes through the casing.

When it looks like this (minus the pins, of course):

not going to case.  thanks for the pic and all the advise FooManShroom!  I'll post pics when it starts pinning, but wont be opening it up until harvest/supper time! :smile:
