Just a quick question?? about jars

Could you (in a completly sterile glove box) take a completly colinized jar of mycelium and a uncolinized jar of substrate : Slice a chunk off the colinized jar and put it in the uncolinized jar of substrate. Will the new jar grow???????

there is a way to do it that way, i was thinking about that so u don't have to wait for prints, just get a jump start

It has been done with success in the past, but why not do it before you birth the cakes, that way i would think the mycellium would be at a strong point and you'd have an even quicker headstart on getting spores than if you wait a few flushes, if that's what your looking for.
