casing thickness

does the thickness of the casing somewhat determine the height of the shrooms. is there anything else that effects the size of the shrooms. i have searched for this topic and didn't find my answer.

The size is related to the substrate, and the thickness of it. The casing is dependent on the substrate itself. Also MANY other factors which cause mushrooms to be big or small.

To make bigger shrooms, use a grain spawn on straw or compost. If your using brf/verm, make the substrate thicker, with a thicker casing layer to accomidate large flushes.
