Psychedlic Mushrooms In Virginia

Hi, I'm just curious, are there any psychedlic mushrooms in the state of Virginia? I never hear of any Virginian finds, wondering if I should even bother learning how to hunt if there aren't any active mushrooms around me, thanks.

(Btw I googled this, and still couldn't find much info on it :wink:)

It's good to see that you tried some research.

The thread still goes against the rules though, so it has to be closed.

There are lists of which species grow in specific areas here on this site. If you haven't already, you should check out the hunting forum sticky (and FAQs) to find links and info. Search thread subjects (title) for Virginia.

If I were looking for actives there, I'd keep a lookout for subbalteatus and gymnopilus species.

Remember, it's not really an over nighter - it takes lots of time, patience, and reading to be successful in this hobby.
