Ok so i wraped my pot of peyote planting in saran wrap again as i heard its better to keep it in these conditions for a while to grow faster and keep it humid well i woke up this morning and i noticed what seemed to be a cobweb mold or some type of mold growing in a few little areas. I sprayed it with h2o2 water bottle that i keep for my shroom casings. The h2o2 water wont kill the little baby peyotes that are just sprouting will it? or did i do the right thing

u did the right thing. I would have just tried to spray the soil. H2O2 wont hurt any cacti when diluted to 3 % more or less.

ya all i did was spray the soil around it...i think i had about maybe a little more than 3%..maybe 6 or so? but it did kill the mold as i just checked back after a while and it hasnt come back ...but hopefully the little extra peroxide in the water wont hurt the babies

I actually had some seeds a while , but gave up. Cactus is not my thing. I like plants more. It's really hard to be a master of plants AND cactus. They are just a pain. GOOD LUCK THOUGH, Read up all you can.

Well when you consider that originaly the H2o2 was already at 3% dilution then im sure your way below the danger level. I usualy mix 3% H2O2 with 10 parts water.

Cacti are just hte part of the garden that you only fuck with once a month. I like cacti because when you have a problem it shows up slowly and gives you time to fix the problem. And when you forget to care for them for a month or more they arnt fazed a bit.
Dont give up, they realy are nice to have in the window.

If peyote typically takes 10 years to flower, does it produce mescaline before that?
How long would one feasibly have to wait, growing from seeds, to have enough for a dose? A few years, right?

A few years if you graft them.
I have around 15 peyote in varying sizes but ive never eaten mescaline, im pretty sure the high wouldnt be worth killing one or some. If i ever eat mesc it will be a pedro cutting.
