The Gillette "Fusion"

It's time for me to be a corporate shill.



This is the new razor that has been released by the Gillette company. It has two incarnations; the first is a regular shaver and the second is a shaver with a battery in it. I guess the battery "stimulates" the hair folicles or something like that.

The battery one was a little too rich for my blood so I got the regular one. The Fusion has five razor blades on the head! Five motherfucking blades. The shave is smooth and nice. My Gillette Mach 3's work OK...but I often rip up my face with them. I get no rippage with the Fusion.

The Fusion is awesome!

Before growing out my beard, I used a Gillete Mach 3 turbo...three bladed head and the battery "stimulator" thing. It gives a very excellent shave. I never cut myself with it and never got the after shave itch deal.

They may make corny commercials for it...but the shit works. 

Like I said, my Mach 3's sometimes rip my face to hell so much that it looks like I have leprosy.  But, the next day the Mach 3 will give me an incredibly smooth shave.  It is just sporadic.  :shrug:

I was pissed because it was so damn obvious that was the next step up. 3 then 4 now 5. I was pissed when schick came out with the 4 because there's was obviously room for one more blade in there. I was like wtf? why bother with 4. just go straight to 5 like everyone knows someone's going to! AAhHHH haha sorry just my rant about a let down of a superbowl commercial. The razor seems pretty cool though.

what I hate about shaving devices like that is that they always seem to fill up with hairs that you can't get out and makes shaving suck

Maybe the electric ones do...but I am referring to the Gillette Fusion. It has a classic razor setup (sharp blades which you have to manually move across your face).

I also have one of these for when I need to do a "quick" shave on the run:



It is one of the "nice" ones (over $100) and to be honest it kind of sucks. The shave is not even close at all. You can't beat razors. But...you take a chance of cutting your face up with razors though.
