I got a Henson shaving aircraft aluminum razor machine by company that used to make parts for nasa.  I couldn’t afford the titanium one.

you all shave? I remember reading this thread many years ago about bought a safety razor but damn that thing gave me crazy razorburn too.

just resigned that my skin doesnt like close shaves, and have been using a buzzer once a week for pretty much ever. One time purchase of $40 is hard to beat

How long did you use it? When I first got it I shaved my face raw, but after a month or two I learned to use it better and it was fine

It's a tad too corroded to try and use, if it was in a little bit better shape I might have tried

But this spot is good for relics, I just wish the razor was 20 years older and a safety razor, or at least all metal and no plastic, would look better on a relic shelf

I also found a Victorian button from a prison guard uniform in this area and a great western railway luggage tag, they are going to develope the area soon they are holding public opinion meetings, so I'll hit it a few more times this year, make sure I feel like there's not much left

Not very long. the razor burn was bad enough that I pretty much immediately stopped using it. I always had that problem with normal razors too, which I used for years. Just figure its my skin or something.

Mickalopagus, are you black?

Many black men have a condition where their beard hairs if shaven curl into themselves, causing massive outbreaks of bumps which a razor then cuts open. Its not really doable for them to be cleanshaven. The US military used to have exemption from the requirement to be cleanshaven for these men, but conservative forces are rolling that back.

Hey man, nah white - but do have a good deal of Italian in me. Lots of thick dark hair to be found in this generic makeup also I suppose :lol:
