How many "points" does it take to get each disciplinary action? Can you check out many points you have on the ban-o-meter?

No, just follow the board's and each forum's rules, and you have nothing to worry about.
In order to being able to follow them, it is always a good idea to thoroughly read them first.

Is there a link I could follow to view a thorough explaination of the point system and infaction values?

Also, I think we should be able to view our scores.
In certain intances, a bannable offense might be reconsidered and abandoned,
in turn causing less drama, IF the offender knows (s)he is approching a ban.

you get told each time you break the rules, so it's hardly some secret notebook system.

if you've been spending most of your time treading as close as possible to the line, don't be surprised when you find your only forum is the FOTB. and if you've already been in there, you're probably on your last chance right now.

it's pretty unusual to get permabanned right off the bat, but not impossible.

If there is a point system, I would like to be aware of "infraction values", in other words...

what is the value (in points) for each type of infraction?


How many points earns the first ban?
