Psychadelic Experience for Blind People

Anyone ever read/heard anything about this? Curious to know what the sensations would be.

A couple of weeks ago a show like 60 Minutes had a guy that went blind but he also had a "disease" called synesthsia (sp?) where senses are crossed so some people hear sights and some people taste words, etc and this blind guy said his visions were probably more intense than folks who could see.
BTW synesthsia can be a component of "tripping".

yes... blind people can hallucinate... I watched this 60mins on synesthesia too... its a very interesting disease, your senses are crossed (I think there are like 20+ different combinations of synesthesia).

well lets see, 5 senses, taken 2 at a time, order counts (Sense X --> Sense Y means that stimulation of sense X is experienced as sense Y):

sight --> hearing
sight --> smell
sight --> taste (that'd be weirrd)
sight --> touch

hearing --> sight
hearing --> smell
hearing --> taste
hearing --> touch

smell --> sight
smell --> hearing
smell --> taste
smell --> touch

taste --> sight
taste --> hearing
taste --> smell
taste --> touch

touch --> sight
touch --> hearing
touch --> smell
touch --> taste


yeap...20 haha...and that's only if they are taken two at a time. i can't even image what it would be like to have 3 senses crossed. =p

Once Itripped without the visuals...actually normally I do. It is really cool. Like you just feel really trippy and stuff. Everything you touch feels and tastes different. Maybe I didnt take enough..
