I read through that and most of the people said that the blind can't have visual hallucinations, but I think the closed eye visuals might not have anything to do with your eyes. They could just be thoughts in your brain, one of the people said that a blind person saw geometric patterns. I think when you close your eyes it just lets your brain not focus on anything in particular, and when on mushrooms your brain thinks up stuff without you even doing anything. I don't know if we will ever have a correct answer, everyone's brain is different, and that means some blind people -might- see visuals and some might not.
