Just wanted to know if all you four-eyes out there trip with your glasses on or off. I just got some glasses, and was curious.

For the first half of my first acid trip I didn't have my glasses on.

For the last half, I put them on, and realized I'd been missing out on a whole world of visuals I didn't know existed. I didn't take them off for the rest of the night.

A friend of mine was an acid head and wore glasses, when we tripped, he liked both...but usually liked them on..sometimes off though..

i want to see an accurate view of the world with my new found visual integrity via ingesting substances....

so there are times when off would be very lucrative... for example glasses make your world very 2D because you are trained to only look at certain portions of things, not at the big panoramic perspective that the entire range of your eye sockets has access to.

so it is because you are looking straight through a lense rather than at the world that viewing things with glasses can be dull.

sometimes blurrier vision is worth it to get the feelings of depth and beauty that natural sight has to offer.

it's also a good exercise to try and see if you can't improve your vision some.

I've tried without my glasses on many times - but its just all blurry and fuzzy. Even if I try to relax my eyes, or focus them/etc.

I can be looking in the general direction of something (not a focus, just sort of, blank unfocused stare), and just see a wash of blurry undefined colour. Put on my glassess, and it'll explode into interesting visuals.

that's weird... I don't think my visuals have much to do with my actual eyes unless they are created by things my eyes are looking at, like tracers.

I know. Its what I was trying to figure out also. But, its like, if the source-image is blurry, then the visuals formed from them are blurry also.

Mind you, my vision is pretty bad.

Depends on the 'trip.' With shrooms, the lenses stay on.

When afoaf has rolled, he has left his glasses on, except for reading upclose. It seems that E and related chemicals alter his vision such that he become very very nearsighted and doesn;t need correction upclose.

depends if they bother me or not....sometimes it irritates me to have anything around my face while im trippin...either way i have a good time and dont really think they affect my visuals.

my vision isnt that bad i can drive and shyt without glasses so iono.

the visuals however seem to stand out more in dark areas without my glases..

One would think that visuals would be more intense without glasses. If things are already distorted, one would assume they would be even more intense while on said substances?

I usually trip with my glasses on but I usually take them off for a little while when I am tripping. One time I tripped and it corrected my vision. I could actually see better then if I had my glasses on. That was really fucked up. I was sitting there and I noticed that shit was blurry so I took off my glasses and everything was perfect. It has only happened the once, but I always hope that it'll happen again because I hate wearing glasses. As soon as I get some money i'm getting contacts.
