Agar cultivation

I have just successfully grown some shrooms on brown rice cakes and successfully cased them which i am now happy with that technique. I have experience working successfully with agar plates while at colledge.And now I have decided
to grow shrooms this way via inoculating rye with mycelium.
So what are the advantages of growing this way over the PF method.

Faster colonization (relative to multi-spore innoculation)

Less chance of contam's because of faster colonization (relative to multi-spore innoculation)

If you clone (via agar) a strong fast growing mushroom you are pretty much guaranteed the fruits to be similiar size and the mycelium to spread faster than if doing multi-spore.
