Does anyone know why these codex are part of the New Testament apocrypha? If there has been no dispute, why wasn't it written in the Bible?

"The books of the Apocrypha was added by the Roman Catholic Church in 1546 consists of the following books that are of unsure origins and was therefore excluded in the Bible"

Does this take away from the credibility of the books?

i don't understand how i can give anyone a bad name

the simple fact is that during our evolution, one of the things that helped us survive was a sense of religious belief. Now thats all good and great and it gets people through the day. But in the end its a belief, and there is no need to be politically correct about it. There can be stupid people in this world, and i am saying that religious people are certainly stupid. Now you can take that to mean that genetically they are incapable of brainpower, or you can take it to mean they grew up in an environment without access to critical thought. Either way they are stupid. They lack critical thought. I'm no in anyway suggesting that religious teachings like loving your neighbor arn't important. What i'm suggesting is you don't need to subscribe to a religion and start reading some 2000 year old book to tell you what is morally acceptable or not.

omg lol never laughed so hard at a serious statement in my life

ok... I've cracked

many years ago when the animals were people, the falcon came to coyote and said
"you have great magic, why dont you make some human beings"
Coyote replied "no, it's too much work"
"No matter" said Falcon, "because you can do it, you must do it."
"very well, I will do it" Coyote said.
Coyote layed down and pretended to be dead and many crows and buzzards came and
picked at coyotes back side, they soon made a large hole in his left buttock,
they soon worked their way inside, Coyote quickly closed the hole and trapped
them inside. he returned to his home and opened the hole and told Falcon to
pick the buzzards and crows out and pluck them. Falcon did as instructed.

"Now we will take the feathers and plant them at all the places on the 4
directions" said Coyote. The set to work and placed a buzzard feather and
a crow feather on every hill, Coyote said "The crow feathers shall be people
and those of the buzzards shall become the chiefs" everywhere they planted
the feathers they gave the site a name.

When all was finished and the people were born, coyote said to falcon "these
humans now look like people, so we must take a different form and we shall
become the animals, and it is all your fault because you forced me to make
these new people. You shall have wings and a beak, I'll have fur and a tail,
you shall fly around and I'll run the earth and hunt, you can be chief if you want.

at once the original people turned into animals, Coyote named them all and he was tired so he slept.

ya know...for the pub this thread is really getting bad....

I mean if the subject was drugs people would call 'flame' or harassment , but since its a 'dirty' religion its OK to beat up

I thought the pub was about good vibes and love, and thats what some say Christ is all about yet I see very prominent members toss that thought on the ground and grind it with their heel.

Its made me , once again, realize most here are just fake illusions.

Christ is Love, like it or not is a fact a lot of Christians believe in.

yet is not love what you all preach? who cares what each of us call it as long as we meet in the end with the same result

seems a lot of stuff goes unchecked... flaming, racism, harassment, and a host of
others, I guess since hippies preach love and equality and christians do the same
and hippies call christians hypocrites, hippies must be christians, I see the
equality in that

absolutely, because buddha was a good man and believing in his teachings is all
good which is just the opposite of christ whom was a good man but believing in his
teachings is brainwashing

Several Christians, myself included, have posted in this thread. Have any of us tried to push our morals and "fairytale beliefs" on you? No. I think it's clear who the intolerant one is here.
