i've heard from some people that taking vitamin C tablets or eating a banana or an orange will help you trip better and give you more visuals.. but my old hippie friend who has eaten more shrooms in his time then i can even imagine says it's bogus. anyone else heard anything like this or is it just some rumor? :hippie:

i believe if you eat nutritiously, that the body and mind will have a more enjoyable trip and less stress. but not too sure about jus taking vitamin c tabs or sumthin..

I've never tried it myself, but I've heard from several sources that vitamin C can potentate the effects of various psychedelics. It could be the placebo effect working here, so I can't say for sure. You also might find this thread interesting though....

It is currently uncertain. But having proper nutrients makes the body fell better so it could even just be that.

vitamin C helps with anxiety, not to have fatter visuals. Sadly the visuals subside more, the less anxiety you have.
In fear and loathing in las vegas etc., I doubt vitamin C was used for anything but a calmer trip. I dont remember them talking about it in the book though, it's just in the movie. But I think that If it wasnt in the book, the directors or someone knew what its actions were on a trip, so the guy who ate a sheet of acid in the bathtub didnt want to trip harder, he wanted a more calm sheetofacid-trip. Ive also read from creadible soarces that if its good for anything its a calmer trip with less anxiety.

its in this forum, and yes they have proven that drinking something acidic with a low ph level enhances and brings on the trip much faster and more intense, but less trip time.

Vitamin C stimulates your eyes sosome people believe that thatmay be the reason for the more-instense visuals. I am not so sure I believe this, however I do believe that if you eat more healthy your body will have an easier time and have a better time overall. The community experiment conducted is trying to uphold that it mayno be Vitamin C that potentially increases the intensity of your trip but it may by the PH (acidity) of whatever you take it with. IT IS extremely intersting and I HIGHLY reccomend everyone reads it. The person conductingthe ex. experienced a level 5 trip with a very small quantity, he did this by grinding up a small amount of msuhroom, say a gram, and mizing it with cranberry juice and taking it as a shot. Just read it...you will be intrigued...it may be something that will take off very soon. Peace
