feeding a rabbit??
    #479299 - 12/04/01 10:23 AM (22 years, 10 months ago)

I just noticed this weekend that my rabbit has quite a bit of mushrooms growing out of its compost. They arent psilocybes, but my question is...could I feed the rabbit spores and have it shit out germinated spores in the end?? I know this would work for a cow, but a rabbit has a different digestive system. I really want to know if the rabbits digestive system would allow germination?

It would be better to pasteurize the compost and inoculate it with colonized spawn. Inoculating with spores might also work.
