Spirituality is about discussing, analyzing, and critiquing your beliefs to see if they make sense and changing them if they don't. This is fully compatible with philosophy; indeed, it is the core of philosophy.

Spirituality and philosophy coexist naturally. It is this forum that is dysfunctional.

If the discussion is straight-jacketed to preclude questioning a proposed set of beliefs to prevent hurting someone's feelings, then the forum is dysfunctional.

If there is no such restriction and those who cling irrationally to their beliefs have their feelings hurt when their beliefs are critiqued, then the forum is dysfunctional.

Either way, free flowing discussion (and fun) is stunted.

No, most likely, it will be so foreign to them, that it'll just be a mystery as to what you're saying. This will result in them creating their own fantastical conclusions and forming elaborate belief systems revolving around something you never said in the first place.

Perhaps pertaining to the nature of the forum, elucidating the proper topics and subjects that will typically be discussed in here?

Will it be made explicit that this forum is suited for formal debate, questioning, and thorough examination of constructs ranging from philisophical principles, personal beliefs and ethics, as well as rationality?
