Casing question

I cased my colonized jars about a week ago in standard rubbermaid. There is some white growth over the top, but mostly white spikes coming thru all over. Was wondering if that is rhizo growth or whatever growth it is, is it ok? Also, should i wait to take the lid off till the white completly covers the top to start growing?

It seems so, it?s ok.
