Went out midafternoon to find all of my datura / brugmansia totally and completely frost wilted , my tobacco was damaged ( Nicotiana Tabacum ) , Nicotiana Glauca ( Tree tobacco , was however not scathed ) so hmm ... Yeah ... I dont know alot about the more ' popular active ' mushrooms, but I see folks mentioning colder temps ... Happened here ... To help bring some happy thoughts out of this , does amanita muscaria fruit after a frost ? That is my only interest in ' Active' Fungi ... hard to admit this happened again for the second year ... Its how nature works though, tropical plants arent native to PNW for a reason ... we are blessed with a variety of fungi though, so ... Can I expect some Fly Agaric soon ?
