Chnge in mycelium

I recently did a agar to agar transfer of two different strains of mycelium. Both were on peroxidated agar but the recipe was different.

In both cases the mycelium has changed from the rhizo/intermediate form it was into a dense white myc - almost like plaster of paris. It has also started to take on a pinkish hue.

I've not seen this before. Any ideas?

One thought is that the myc itself is harboring contams and need cleaning, another is that the differnt agar recipe has changed it...?

Was that on the actual myc or just contams on a substrate/agar?
