The Perversity of the Universe Principle
    #4506316 -

We know that our minds gravitate conditions to us in the external world, that match what is going on in our heads. In this way one could view the experiences of life we go through, as being symbolic of our inner journey. When we need to learn a certain lesson, circumstances will arrange themselves in such a way, that we will be forced to deal with it. From these things, we always emerge stronger, although the process won't always be that much fun...

So understanding this, we have a great Key for Use. When something difficult comes up, you can ask yourself what the lesson involved in it happens to be. Once you figure that out, the problem will simply evaporate, as soon as you apply that principle.

Yes! Beautiful post.  To say the problem "simply" evaporates may be somewhat misleading to some. Evaporates is an apt term though. Water takes some time to evaporate and so our changes also. Very good.

How quickly things change depends, upon the depth of the Insight, and how profound the shift in attitude happens to be. So it could be a month, a week, a day, or even a few seconds. The Universe defines itself by the vibrations occurring within it..

Perhaps the problem evaporates more swiftly when we "turn up the heat" of Love/Lifeforce?

First you agree with the post then when contrary evidence is presented, you question the premise? Don't follow you.

When something difficult comes up, you can ask yourself what the lesson involved in it happens to be. Once you figure that out, the problem will simply evaporate, as soon as you apply that principle.

So if a robber shoots you, you can apply this *cough cough* "principle" and instantaneously be healed?

Would you care to give a demonstration or take a Swami Challenge?

Well it wouldn't be instantaneous obviously.

First you would have to consider why that person robbed you at gunpoint and shoot you afterwards, despite your blind obedience to his demands. Clearly the jump from robbery to homicide is a result of the robbers decision and as such you must have a thorough knowledge of the robbers personality as developed through past experiences and genetic predisposition. Once you have gathered this data you can begin to consider what you can learn by interacting with someone who will plug you for no apparent reason. Unfortunately by this time you've bled to death. Oopsie.

i think you're being roundabout and obtuse. What you are saying is that there is an optimum way to deal with every problem, and that success in life comes from seeking out and acting upon these optimum courses of action.

You put this spin on it though. I don't know if you realized, but you said that when a human needs to learn a certain lesson, then, as a result, a related problem will occur in his or her life. Overcoming the problem will teach the person the necessary lesson. I see no reason for your thinking. In my opinion it is backwards.

perhapse it was time for you to die, is that not part of life?
Accepting death when the time for it comes is the best relief you can find.

Say, I think you just might be right. I have an experiment for you. Head down to Newark NJ at 4 AM, and when you get back, let me know if the mysterious forces that govern your life deemed it was high time for you to get mugged or assaulted.

sorry. i edited my post. i'm a dick, and your question was probably not stupid. I used the phrase mysterious forces to make fun of the guy i was replying to; i.e., when someone says "oh it was just her time to die," I infer that they believe life is governed by mysterious forces.

well, anyway,

to get back to the topic..

the forces at hand are sharp objects that stop your brain from working, and I think they are powerfull enought to say out loud: it is your time

if you get hit by a bullet in the head, it is definitvley your time
