Maybe I'm a freak, or maybe I'm just not cool enough, but weed really doesn't do it for me. In fact, in a lot of ways, it makes me paranoid and the body high is uncomfortable. I wonder whyy this is. Only when combined with oiates or anxiolytics can I smoke weed and enjoy it. I think I am a freak.

Nah I don't vibe well with bud anymore myself. Smoked daily for around 5 or 6 years and loved every minute of it. Now when I smoke I get massive anxiety and paranoia.  It was a pain in the ass when it first started happening but Iv gotten used to it and don't have the urge to smoke anymore. Don't get me wrong man. If the day comes where I can smoke and feel good I will do so in a heartbeat.

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

I smoke weed for most the day and night. It's gotten to the point where I can function normally on it, and no one is the wiser.
I actually feel kinda weird when I'm NOT stoned

Lots of people don't smoke weed. They are called tweakers.
Seriously though, if you don't like putting something into your body, don't do it. Everyone has preferences for certain stimuli, and many do not enjoy cannabis.

If weed makes you paranoid, you either need medical help or need to mature a bit. Sorry to say but weed making you nervous or paranoid is a sign of mental blocks and happens even to the most seasoned stoner time to time. Take a glass of St.Johns wort and chamomile tea before toking, an take it in small amounts. Then, you will truly see the joy of marijuana. And this joy can crumble before your eyes, it's a thick cloud to be learned from like the rain and passing on you must watch it fade away until the next front blows over. I hope you get it

That is the most rediculous thing I've ever heard. Marijuana makes people paranoid and anxious sometimes, especially new smokers and someone who has not smoked in a long time. Telling someone they are mentally ill because they don't like pot is idiotic. I think you need to mature a bit.

Those are all common side effects of marijuana. Some people more then others. It doesn't mean you're mentally ill. If you truly think that, I'd love to see your sources. Because frankly, I think you're a dumb ass.

I have to agree with Signo there... What one puts into their own body and what they are comfortable with is there business. Choosing not to partake of mj, alcohol, caffine, meat etc is not a sign of mental illness (or blocks as you called it, echoing Scientology (not that there's anything wrong with Scientology.))

Sig... I feel what he says does have some relevence. I know im not all here to start. But when i puff and i puff daily around people my social anxiaty bs definetly goes up a notch. Drugs all have there way of manifesting the work we need to do on ourselfs.

I think, and this is totaly BS im spouting... so take with salt if at all.
I think that MJ up the dopamine in your brain and that may be cause of the anxiety or social anxiety. Im not sure how this goes about though...
