so, whats the difference between a shroomery self-destruct button and The Cleaner for firefox?

Ok, since you asked nicely. I made a Firefox extension that lets you put a button on the toolbar. When you click the button, the cache, cookies, history, saved passwords, saved form info, and download history are all cleared(same as clicking "Clear All" in the privacy options. There is no confirmation, it just clears everything and closes the window. I'll make a post in safety & security when I get it hosted somewhere(probably later tonight). :cool:

When I heard that back then I immediately called Ythan to recommend he shouldn't do that. I was too late, and the Shroomery was offline for a month and the admins lived in an old trailer for a year because of it :evil:

Seriously, a specific NUKE button to clear your computer would be cool. However it would require knowledge of many OS & brwoser combinations.

For the most common ones I'd say go for it!

Just thought I'd post a link to the hideBad extension which could also be useful:
