Powerless...

So it rained the other day and i started to realize how powerless we are over this world we live in. The nature that has thrived for so long lives over us reaching out to us showing us things, it has shown us great weather and bad weather, it has shown us great plants to eat and great plants to die off of. It has also shown us many things that give us place in this world. We live next to the gods but not so close to them as we can reach out and touch them. We thrive in our mankind to exceed in things, we thrive. Our everyday struggle as we live and learn goes on and on. One thing we do not realize it is not neccessary for us to even thrive at all for we only live this short little puny existance. If we then come across ourselves and realize one thing in this life, is that we can do something so great and powerful that it will leave every man powerless. We can build machine, we can build nature!.. By that i mean we can unearth the ground we walk on, we can tear at it's deep flesh until all withers away. Then realize once again that this too can lead to a fatal most weakest of deaths. To live on in our daily lives knowing that we too can grab hold of this rock and do something with it shows there is purpose on this everyday plain!..

We may seem puny creatures in this world but we hold more power then most, we hold death and destruction in our hands. In these hands of ours we can build the hugest empires. We can hold one man at his end. We can destroy another man.

... and we thought we are powerless in this world.

Your idea is based in the idea that this world is all there is. That our exstence is " Puny " You can not see what you can not see. You can not believe what is not felt seen or heard.

What do you think people 200 years ago would have though about radio waves,computers, TV etc......... They would have said exactly as you have. But that does not change the fact Radio waves are very real.

Because we can not see God or touch God does not mean God is not there. You need the right equipment to see and feel God. Same with Radio waves.

Do they realy need to be vulnerable ? Why must it be a weak point to absorb a word or action ? I think all they need to be is receptive to change, good or bad.

without too much deconstruction, droz, it seems a muscle headed thought sequence, as if the only thing with meaning were to dominate nature or kill others, or somehow, miraculously become 'huge'.

this is truly a cry for help if I ever heard one - this is the point from which humans have created the most suffering in history.

Was sort of like an inspirational cry. A scream out to those who dominate. To show them that i will become something, not only will i put all effort in i will not stop till i obtain my goals. An island for starters.. amongst the beaches of heaven.
