Its pretty rad having hallucinogenic mushrooms at your home, you end up dreaming about them.

Read the millions of posts on how to find them, and try to communicate with the Lizard King telepathically.

The woodland species seem to be of a different tezxture, as well as the Cobb County, GA versions. Seems like different conditions breed variations.

It just perplexes me how he found four meaty fruits this time of the year, ya know?
Although, this rain we've had in Atlanta is freaking insane. What is this, the 8th day in a row?
I checked for weilii but came up empty handed, I felt my time was worth more in other areas.

The chanterelles are seriously booming right now. And it's weird cause I thought they would be later in the year. I saw so many trees snapped, lakes flooded, and debree from this recent storm I hardly recognized this place where I hunt. Literally like twigs these pines were snapping, to be there in the storm would have been crazy!
I've been cooking these bad boys up for two night, and the cooks like to use them.

I'd say no matter what mushroom you are looking for, gourmet or otherwise, *NOW* is the time to get the fuck out there! And it's been very learning watching the mushrooms over this past week. The first fruiters are now almost rotted, and yet second and third flushes have come up. You can still catch the third wave, and the ends of the other two... they are out in such force I say I've seen over 40 different mushroom species this last week( unfortunately no woodland weilii). It's fun :sun:

This is a very small find, but I only spent 10 minutes in the field because it was middle of the day, and I was in a unknown field.  This is the first time in 2 years I have went hunting (this was more run and grab and get the hell back to my car, lol) But, at least I found a new field within 2 hours drive that isn't a friend from the board's stomping ground.  :wink:  I'll post better pictures when I get back home and have a better camera.  BTW This was about 35 miles west of Augusta, GA.
