Begining mushroom hunting

I need yall's help...In South East Georgia what are the best seasons to hunt(no internet site mentions this one...it seems the most important)? best places? I have heard that mushrooms are more prevalent where certain grasses, cows, and egrets(a type a white bird) are also present..is this true? does anybody know. I have searched a lot and have not been able to find much. I dont know anybody else that hunts so everything I have learned has been off the internet. Since the only mushroom I can recognize is P. cubensis I don't try to find much else...but im tryin to learn others. If anybdy wants to just show off there knowledge and answer questions that aren't here...please do...i need all the help i can get..my mushroom cultivation project got contaminated for now.

It depends on how far south you are
if you are near the florida border, you can look in cow fields for Psilocybe cubensis up untill october, if further north, look for them through maybe august and early sept. look for panaeolus subbalteatus through august or september in horse fields or manuered gardens. you can find pix in the grow/find section of this site, or you can grow them yourself. either way it doesn't matter. cubes get harder and harder to find the further you get from the coast. Lizard King seems to be able to find them wherever he may go, though.
