Well found two species today.. Again I was not looking for mushroms. They seem to call out to me as usual and I find them when I am alone with no one brside me except the mycelium.
So here ae three images of P. sstuntzii and one image of two specimens fo P. baeocystis. Both found in North Seattle.

And two lone Psilocybe baeocystis mushrooms.

Wow.
How much rain have you been getting down there? It's been dry as a bone, but with lots of clouds, the last week or so here in supposedly rainy Victoria.

Great finds MJ...wish I had me some stunzi prints, I bet that they could be naturalized around here...cool. Also in your opinion, do you find beos growing more in grass or on wood? Just curious, as I have a print and would like to cultivate them outdoors too. Anyways, nice mushies.

Very nice MJ! Just like you say, the lawn stunzii pop up in spring/summer followed by the wood debris strain in the fall. Those baeos tho seem to be a bit out of place tho....i was under the impression they only grew in the fall season. Regardless tho excellent work and keep cruising those lawns and whatnot.

blue ringers in the summer [Re: mjshroomer]

I was under the impression that blue-ringers mainly appeared in the fall, but this is the second time you have found them on lawns in Seattle. I live in the grim industrial port city of Tacoma... This may sound dumb, but do these mushrooms appear all over the Puget Sound area, or do they only thrive on lawns in the chic hippie neighborhoods of Seattle?

they grow all over the puget sound, these mushrooms when they get into season are very easy to find, they can grow year round if the winter is mild. Just look in new grass around housing developments, or new office building, anywhere with well maintained good grass is a good spot to look.
