this would be neat- and could incorporate jonah's ultimate myco-directory as a starting point as well. lotta work though.

what also may be a neat idea is to figure out the "top 20" questions, or top 50... etc. by submission, and not only look for old posts on the subject (starting from the myco-directory) but also asking opinions (when warranted) to the commuity at large. wouldnt be necessary for things that are just facts (correct temps for casing run) but may be nice for some of the debated issues (bottom casing layer, nutritive casing layer, best casing material, etc etc.) i like a little debate every once in a while.

Sorry the idea is too good, to happen on this site. All good ideas never lived long enough here. If you are interested in a new color scheme, that would be different :(

I think it would be a great idea to create a list of commonly asked questions and answers and have related links in the answer.  These could be shown at random in Mushroom Cultivation.  I will put it on my "to do list". :wink:

I would think that we would need to put the link to it in several spots on the webpage. It probably wouldn't hurt to post in the mushroom cultivation forum....post it...close it...and make it sticky forever so it would always be there very noticable. It would suck for the old hands here but not nearly as much as the questions being repeated 600 times.
