Stop censoring the vendors forum

it is my opinion that the Vendors forum should not just be a place for vendors to advertise thier wares. i think it should be a place for people to compare and contrast vendors and thier service, criticize vendors, compliment vendors, etc. i have encountered repeated frustration in trying to post to this forum while i see plenty of other "positive" messages being posted. i am posting my original message below. please tell me if you think this is or isn?t appropriate for the vendors forum and why....

I don?t really see it as inappropriate.

My son is here for most of the summer....I'm not on the boards as much as usual.... when he is here with me.
I only come here 3 times during the day to check the 2 forums that I mod.

I did get your PM ....but with 10 to 40 PM's a day it takes me awhile to get back to people.....I help alot of people with cultivation questions....I don't usually answer my PM's til my son goes to bed.

I don't think that your post was innapropriate.....and I would have approved it if I had seen it.... I didn't see your post.

The Vendor forum is not Censored.....per say.
Out right flames are not allowed.
People that try to sell items that are not a paying Vendor are not allowed.
Vendors going into other Vendors threads to start trouble are not allowed.

I just dont understand. Why cant we just allow it to be like all other forums. This will take a huge workload off the moderators and adminstrators and if anybody breaks the rules then they can be banned. I dont see why this place has to complicate everything. We set all these new rules to make the community better but I see them broken all the time and nothing is done about it. Morever, even when it is "fully moderated" I've seen some lame posts allowed. I've talked to Roadkill about it once or twice and he couldn't answer me who else is allowing this shit to get posted. Anyways, I guess there are two options:

1. Fully moderate it...make work harder than it has to be...and call it better even though is just barely is; or:
2. Let the forum free and when people break rules you BAN THEM.

i didn't mean to imply that those were three different syringes. an honest mistake i promise. they are all the same S. American syringe. although there were clumps in other syringes if you'd like me to take some pics...

i questioned the syringe stoppers because i was afraid they would allow contaminants in.

i didn't get a free Acadian coast. i think i got the Free B+ special.

I use various aliases when i order and i order from different states so i don't know how you would know who is ordering from you. it is my understanding that you don't keep records of your customers.

you've been nothing but rude. i accidently posted a batch number and you banned me from your service. I NEVER posted a batch number AFTER you told me not to. you are lying on this point. but, i digress, this is a thing of the past and i'm sure no one wants to dredge it up and stink up this forum with it.

"whore-son" is an insult i pulled from Shakespeare and i find it quite literary. i'm sure your mother was a nice lady, if it's any consolation.

i didn't leave anything out. what i posted here is an exact copy of what i attempted to post in vendors.

finally: you are an asshole. i haven't made any accusations, false claims, or rude remarks. i have merely questioned the quality of the merchandise. if you keep berating your customers for asking questions, and refusing service over silly ACCIDENTAL batch number releases you're going to have to start giving your syringes away to keep them. you have good prices, fast delivery, and horrible customer service.

i don't see any reason to discuss this further.

Jammer, any Admin and myself......approve the posts.

I'd like to see the Vendor forum opened back up.....but have strick guide lines.
You break any of the rules you get a Warning.....after several warnings you are banned for a week.....or how long an Admin thinks is needed.
Any non Paying Vendor that tries to sell anything.....post deleted.

Or we do this....keep the forum fully moderated and allow all posts.
Then we give warnings to people in the thread and via PM....so that the posts are seen by everyone....and see how nasty some of these peoples behavior really is.
But I'm not sure this is the right answer.

Only thing that I really care about is....not seeing the Vendor forum turn into a flamefest like it was.

why are you quoting my PM? all that PM shows is that i was completely cooperative and sent you the batch number when you asked for it. what the hell are you trying to say?

i got the number of syringes that i ordered + my B+ syringe. perhaps i wasn't among the "number of people" you sent one to.

It has been tried both ways.
The later didn?t work out, it?s still much work if you must run behing the idiots who can?t behave.

The way it?s now is less work compared to the other possibilty.

you didn't address the question. whether it was a pm or a post is irrelevant. i don't have to go to any great efforts to discredit you, as you seem to be doing all the work for me.

why don't you address the question: what is the significance of the quote... what does it prove? that i was cooperative and helpful and sent you the batch number right away? i pm'ed you the batch number and i posted it just to be sure you got it. i didn't realize the implications of such a post, as i have explained a million times.

A) i don't want your respect. i think you're an idiot.

B) i never sent you any emails other than one's regarding my orders. now who's trying to discredit?
