found a bunch of these growing near my cubies patch what are they?

found thease in western washington and have no idea what they are, are they active? or deadly or can i eat them?

I've found those in my backyard too. I'm pretty sure they're not active, but I don't know what they're called.

^^^Yep, Coprinus micaceus. Many guides list it as edible but I wouldn't bother with it.

coprinus ( inky caps ) lots of different variations and stuff i find them pretty neat but would mess with it

yes they are a type of Coprinus. very common.

they are not psychoactive, and if consumed by a regular alcohol-drinker they can be poisonous.

in other words they can be rather toxic if mixed with alcohol.

they are edible before the gills turn black, and can cause vomiting for up to 7 days after alcohol consumption if consumed in that period of time.

yah i put in a b+ grow outside under my deck durring a warm spll about 2 months ago, straw and dung. so yesterday i was out side looking at it and saw my first b+ growing, i was so excited that i sarted looking for more and fount the other mushrooms.
