single/double tub substrate

I been reading up on the single/double tub and everyone is using poo. Instead of using Poo can you use grain instead? I don't have a cheap means to get poo, and i rather not mess with poo at the moment.

I know very little compared to alot of people on here. But I do know this. THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR POO. In the words of my old roomte FLEM, while tripping on cowshit field shrooms, "it's all in the shit"

You could use grains, but poo is much more cost effective, less time consuming (no preparing a million jars in pc) and produces more potent shrooms.  Poo is the winner.  :smile:

I been trying to find it for free, but no luck. I even asked the cops on horses and they wouldn't give me a straight answer.

Of course i didn't tell them they were for shrooms. I told them i didn't want to buy fertilizer for my garden, and rather get it for free so i asked the cops on horses if i could get some from the stable where they were at and they said uhh i don't know, i really don't know where the stable is...

They just gave me a bull shit answer.
