Makin Spore Prints*many troubles please help*

anyone know a better way to make spore prints steril with out useing the oven? :)

lol... you tellin me to just apply rubbing alc.? its that easy? wait for it to dry then put the cap on thatd be steril?

great so.... take a paper(for the print) apply rubbing alc wait for it to dry put the cap on wait for it to drop its spores then seal it with tin foil and ziplock it anyone object to any of these steps if not thx for the help everyone :)

It really works. I thought the same thing, but after talking to several member, I gave it a try and it works.For my first batch of prints, I used oven sterilization.That produced non contaminated prints. The second batch, I used foil wiped with alcohol. So far. no problems with contams from this batch either.

Is foi lany good ? compared to wax I got a wax print And i guess it worked out ok But still abit of a mission Do i just throw the foil in the oven ? And then Rub it with achool to to be on the safier side

I use foil. Ive found the spores come off foil easier. To sterilize i wipe off the foil with rubbing alc place cap on foil, and put a glass over it.
