pacifists and kants categorical imperative
    #4275503 - 06/09/05 12:55 PM (11 years, 8 months ago)

If there is any belief that should be held in higher esteem in light of kants categorical imperative, I'd like to know. True pacifists can never have their beliefs differentiated, in the light of scrutiny, from cowards. They will only hold the truth inside themselves no matter what is said because death is at stake, and the fear that is so closely associated with it.

Cowards will metamorphize their thoughts in each situation to fit their percieved notion of virtue but a pacifist does not need to change his position at all.

Cowards should be thrown in the fire, but pacifists should be looked at with honor.

But who knows who is who?

Cowards can't separate themselfs from their fear, and
killers can't separate themsefs from their anger.
Both of them are victims of their emotions, so they are same
