What languages can u speak?

Well ya... I can speak English... obviously.

I can also speak Japanese and French. I'm not great in Japanese, I can write it (mostly Hiragana... some Kitakana) and understand it but i am slow when speaking it.

French... i'm getting real good at. I love how it flows.

I used to know the hiragana and katakana languages as well as the english alpahabet and I could write about 100 Kanji characters and recognize even more. Now I suck.

I'm unemployed right now so I'm going to pick a couple of those language CD's. Start with German then maybe french or spanish. Anyone have any experience with the CD kits?

I speak a regional swahili dialect surprisingly my friends can often decipher it.

japanese is very hard to learn and remember. but it's kinda fun!

Totally agree. My sister took Japanese for awhile and then started concentrating on German, she said everything is cake after nihongo.

it's SO true. i feel like i've been able to catch on the French so well.. i'm gonna start taking Spanish and then Italian. I'd like to be able to communicate somewhat and understand many languages b/c my career requires LOTS of traveling.

Polish, German, French, Dutch, Patois (Jamaican), partly Russian, and partly a few other slavik languages.

when i was little, i lived in japan and my mom taught english to random japanese people.  they would come over to the house and it was kind of cool...i remember running around and sometimes they would give me candy and teach me how to speak japanese.  japanese candy is the BEST.

anyways, i can't really speak fluently in any other languages.  i can say a few things in japanese, german, spanish, french, and chinese - cantonese.  i also hung out with some jamaicans and even though they speak a form of english, it's so thick and accented it's almost hard to understand.  i can decipher most  though...they call it 'patois'.  edit: just read that other guy can speak a little patois too.  :thumbup:

i wish i would have payed more attention in spanish class though.  i've been in situations where i've been hanging out with the mexicans and i can only make out like every other word.  i usually get the jist of what they mean, but it's much harder for me to speak it.

i'd really like to learn french.  i've never had the chance..

Turkish, English and a wee bit of Spanish. I love Spanish though, I'm gonna improve it on the first chance I have.
