Anyone speak Spanish?

I'm tutoring this girl tomorrow, but I'm not sure what exactly to teach. She's at like the "spanish 3" level, so I'm thinking the past tense like preterite and imperfect...anyone know what else was taught around that point in spanish class? Indirect objects and all that good shit? Was that spanish 4...?

I just finished Spanish 3 this year. I really don't remember much of anything. I think we just worked on subjunctive and its many uses.

try teaching here the future tense(u know where u just add letters like e, as, a, amos and an to the end of a complete verb, depending on what the verb ends in-er, ar ir.....) so heres an example hablar
hablare hablaramos hablaras hablara hablaran
and teach her the subjuntive, thats always important hope this helps peace

Are we talking spanish 3 college level, or HS? Either way, no problem here. I've taken up to "Conversation and Composition" in college, which is an upper intermediate level. Advanced level is more writing 10 page papers on Don Quixote. No thanks.
If you need help, send me an IM. PM me for my AIM screen name. I'm not giving it out here. You fuckers will ask me how to find shrooms, and I hate getting IMs about that.

can anyone recommend a good way to teach yourself Spanish? I don't really have time to take a class, but was looking for the best thing to get started with. There seems to be alot of silly tapes and videos, wasn't sure what would actually be worth renting or buying.

Spanish 3, teach her conditional, future, also COMMANDS! The imperative form is relatively easy so make sure she knows that. Also make sure she knows her preterite and present tenses. If you have time, past and present perfect are always good to know. Work on direct and indirect object pronouns, also adjectives(i.e. grande-->gran, rapido-->rapidamente). Maybe an introduction to the present subjunctive.

Ajajaja, es divertido ver a los gringos intentando hablar español.
English is easier than spanish though... we have lots of verbal forms and irregular rules, also our slang is way more complicated.

Spanish 3 is pretty much anything they can handle after the preterite. There are so many more tenses to learn, but focus on the perfect tenses. He, has, ha, hemos etc... "have done this" "has done this" "will have done this"...
I miss spanish, I took it for 5 years starting 8th grade and I really picked up on it.
