i am.

to be absolutely honest i dont even know how many women i have slept with.

lost my virginity at 14. and (although the first few years were slow) have had a new partner an average of roughly every 5-6 weeks. this has been true even when i have been in relationships (maby every 6-8 weeks). usually keep my casual partners for a few days up to a week/ten days. i have never had a girlfriend that i did not cheat on. for years i never left home without making sure i had condoms whith me.

so 17 yrs times ~8.5 makes about 144. remove a few for the first years... say 130ish?  i did try to recall and count all fo them like two years ago and landed at 120. but then in the next two days i kept recalling others that i had forgot (maby another 5 or 6) and quite possibly there are a few that i will never recall. suggesting its a pretty accurate estimate.

this is not something i am proud of or even happy with. but rather an annoyance and something that keeps me from getting a serious relationship. im not a sex-addict (dont need to wank 11times/day), it has something to do with me having a strange way of relating to women (i never sleep with women i make friends with or respect intellectually, and rarely respect the women i sleep with).

this is something im working on and want to overcome. but as anything, it takes time. i have managed to be celibate for the last four months. (but im not sure thats an improvement :smirk: ). it would be really nice to have a good relationship.

I don't think sluttiness has to do with how many people you've slept with...it's who and how.

My best friend (really like my brother) fell in love with his first lay at 17. He was like a puppy dog to her...but she dumped him after a few months. They stayed friends though...I really wish he hadn't stayed friends cos she is a non-commital type of person and he could do so much better. Well, she had a kid and then left a guy after a couple years. Then she had another kid, got married, divorced.

There's an underlying message behind calling someone names for being sexually robust. The idea is that sex is bad and that you should only justify having sex if you're married or in a "serious" relationship. Therefore, if you have sex without being in a solid relationship then you are a "slut" or "whore" or "tramp", etc..

Where do we get the idea that sex is bad? Religion. Do away with it. Get back to spirituality.

I call whores, sluts, because that is what they are. No respect for their body at all. You can call it "sexual expression" and i'll call it nastiness. I don't want to be with a girl thats fucked 25 guys, period. The whole sexual liberation theme that hippies love has done a real good job at promoting a healthy concept of sex.

Kids pregnant at 12, 13, 14... girls in their 20's with 4 kids with 3 fathers. STDs, abortions and extremely high divorce rates.

Yeah, sexual "expression" is quite magical alright. Imagine the glorious sexual heights we could climb too if it wasn't for that pesky religion keeping us down  :thumbdown:

^^^^ just about anyone who posts something like that is demonstrating theyre immaturity. considering everyone who says theyre a spiritual person is just revealing another side to them. a side of cockyness. not to say that just about anything you say degrading anything can be labled easily as ignorance. but considering religion builds morals and society, id have to say theres nothing wrong with it. considering the people with out morals ussually live a life of shit. (please dont turn this into a right wing flame) but... if you really want to be so spiritual, you should probably either A. become buddhist and accept things the way they are, and see the balance of life. B. Move to a remote place and become a shaman. Or C. Say your spiritual and point your finger at religion for whats wrong with society.

Edit: BTW, sex is only portrayed as bad in the old days. Times have greatly changed anyways. Sluts are people who cant love, and have sex just because it feels good, and not having any real emotional attatchment. Thats probably why alot of people consider(ed) sex bad. Especially since religion seems to be so against sex, its really not. Its just the people who promote it over emphasize certain things.

Who's morals? Yours? Mine? The Pope's? I don't believe in a universal set of morality and I find religion trying to dictate what is "right" and "wrong" to be idiotic at best.

Decisions should be based on rational thought and a consideration of the positive and negative aspects of the results. Religion (speaking mainly of Judeo-Christian values) doesn't do that. It arbitrarily, yes a magic eye in the sky dictating right and wrong is pretty damn arbitrary, imposes values on the populace that often harm rather than help.

I think you and everyone else would be hard pressed to find anything "bad" in two consenting adults having protected sex.

Self morals that dont negatively effect others life with bad intention are ussually the best to follow. If the world did not have a general universal set of morals it would be complete utter chaos(not to say that the world isnt chaotic, but the again look at who runs the world. all hypocrites)

no, it does. such as ettiquette, discipline, respect... those are universal morals. however, if you cant appreciate anything, thats immoral. and if you dont learn to appreciate anything, your spoiled too. and shrooms and acid arent immoral, you can learn shit sometimes from trippin, then again alot could happen. it could sway your judgement to alot of things if your an unstable person.
