no religion
    #1133718 -

im not disrespectiing anyones religious beliefes.....
i used to go to church every week, went to classes during the week to for church, and then one week i started tripping., i never really thought about it until i was a senior and i ate 7 grams of mushrooms, and met up with my friend who also had consumed some mushrooms, we were chillin and shit and i started to peak and started trippin real hard, and started thinkin about every thihng there is, and i thought about my religious beliefes and decided that it was all bullshit, and since that day, even though i have tried to, i find no motovation to go to church, or believe or even think about god and that shit, now i think it is complete bullshit, and when you die your dead and that is it, we are just smart monkeys and the only reason for god is some jackasses back in the day trying to explain everything, kinda like our government trying to explain social problems by blaiming them on drugs,,,,,,,think about it...

"bullshit" is kind of hard for a belief structure that brings a lot of people relief. But yeah.

Anyhow, moving away from one belief system is not the end of it. There is a lot to learn and experience. Don't let anyone tell you what you believe has to be a theism to be meaningful.

I remember during my first acid trip, I kept thinking about God and the Devil--good and evil--and how they don't exist. I came to the realization that anything we consider evil is that which we don't understand while that which we consider good is familiar to us.

Yeah, the Aztecs sacraficed people to their gods daily but it was thought to be the right thing to do in their society. Does that mean that they must be evil? No.

Oh so many many ways for me to show you
How your dogma has abandoned you
Pray to your Christ, to your god
Never taste of the fruit
Never stray, never break
Never---choke on a lie
Even though he's the one who did this to you
You never thought to question why

Not like you killed someone
It's Not like you drove a spiteful spear into his side
Talk to Jesus Christ
As if he knows the reasons why
He did it all for you
Did it all for you
He did it all for you..
